Hey all,
Here are the info about the cruise I’m talking about:
The “Fairwind” is an authentic Chinese Junk in every aspect. Built by the ‘eye and the rule of the thumb’ method, that were passed on from generation to generation. Normally ironwood or Giam timber is used for the construction, but nowadays Chengai timber is being substituted. The vessel in its original form is more robust than steel construction.
Here are the food menu on board the cruise:
Hot Buffet Entree
Main Course
Dessert
Beverages
Do not worry about the size of the ship. The whole class can even fit into the bow of the ship. There is space below and upper deck for the more adventurous ones, where you can meet the captain.
The ship will move of at 6:00 pm from Marina South Pier, anchor half way ard 7:15 pm for dinner, and continue until 8:30 pm.
Night cruise will cost $39 per head and they will need a minimum of 35 pax for the boat to run. $39 for a buffet and cruise is not expensive in my opinion. If everything is confirmed, you can start paying any amount you can.
If the boat passes by Sentosa at 7:40 pm – 8:00 pm, you will be able to see pyrotechnics and fireworks from Sentosa’s Songs of the Sea.
